About the Position: Serves as the Directorate of Human Resources (DHR) information technology technical support specialist. Responsible for assisting with installing and configuring desktop systems and commercial off the shelf software and resolving problems in accordance with established procedures. Controls and maintains property accountability for all non-expendable property and equipment and provides semi-annual or annual inventories in accordance with Army Regulations.
Duties
Assist with managing, performing, and administering the logistics aspects for the organization’s efficiency.
Serve as the DHR point of contact for all Information (IT) matters.
Serve as liaison with resource management division, defense finance and accounting systems (DFAS), Directorate of Contracting, contractors.
Checks/verifies hand receipt/property records against Financial Inventory Account dollar amounts and reconciles as required.
Perform studies of overall supply operations to determine proper application of supply methods.
Plans, directs and coordinates supply operational activities that involve purchasing equipment and supplies, conducting inventories, issuing supplies and procurement official for all credit card purchases.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) applying knowledge of supply and logistics management support sufficient to perform equipment audits and determine inventory purchase requirements; 2) assisting with installing and configuring desktop systems and commercial off the shelf software and resolving problems in accordance with established procedures; and 3) applying knowledge of processes and automated control systems to facilitate and ensure accountability of material receipt, storage, retrieval, and disposition. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.
