You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Department of the Navy, Assistant for Administration (DON/AA), Directives and Records Management Division
Duties
You will manage all aspects of the directives process; work as an action officer, write action memorandums to senior leadership.
You will analyze and evaluate major record groups and holdings to ensure appropriate records are created and maintained to document Navy organizations, procedures and transactions.
You will evaluate effectiveness of current operations, procedures and systems, and recommends improvements or modifications.
You will implement organizational policies and standards for filing and maintenance of records, including maintenance and management of the Standard Subject Identification Codes.
You will assist the director and Records Officer in programs and mission responsibilities.
Requirements

- This position may require occasional travel up to 5%.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with the management of directives, forms and information collections policies and execution of the program Understanding Federal Records, Directives, Forms, and Information Collections Programs; Experience with the design, implementation and evaluation of records management systems and information resource management programs; applying management techniques and analytical methods to identify and solve complex problems; experience evaluating Command and Agencies Information Technology guidelines and directives governing information and records management.
