About the position: This position will be assigned to the 47th Force Support Squadron, located at Outdoor Recreation, Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, Texas. This position is Flexible, guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. May include nights, weekends and holidays. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits.

Duties

Performs duties of a laborer in the operation of the Outdoor Recreation Program. Maintain equipment and facilities for use. Assist customers loading/unloading equipment and check equipment for proper cleaning & operation when it is checked out and returned. Assist with large base wide activities by loading, setting up, tearing down and returning equipment used for these special activities. Perform minor repairs and cleaning of Outdoor Recreation equipment. Performs grass cutting and trimming w/power equipment. Performs spot inspections and keeps maintenance logs of work performed. Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and one every three years thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.

Education
