You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the IN-SERVICE SSBN, SSGN & SSBN PROGRAM OFFICE of PEO SSBN. This position is for one Assistant Program Manager (APM) position working directly for the Ohio Life-cycle Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) and one APM working for the US / UK Strategic Weapons Support System PAPM in the area of Fleet and Technical response.
Duties
You will conduct detailed analyses of complex functions and work processes that can include financial, contractual, programmatic, or other program office focus areas and provide recommendations to program leadership.
You will prepare and implement long-range planning objectives covering administrative aspects of the organization and other assigned areas.
You will conduct studies, surveys and reviews projects to evaluate program requirements, accomplishments, effectiveness, and/or compliance with meeting specific goals, objectives, rules, and regulations.
You will prepare coordinated reports, presentations and briefings in support of program actions and brief senior leadership and make recommendations based on findings.
You will provide Senior Leaders and Program Managers (PMs) with the expertise and information required to make programmatic and risk mitigation and avoidance decisions.
You will provide leadership, mentoring, and personnel management support to your team.
You will be responsible, as the APM Maintenance Lead specifically, for planning, coordinating, and providing oversight/support to Ohio depot availabilities.
You will be responsible for the Ohio strategic maintenance planning, PIRA program management, duration assessments, and material condition assessments in support of PMS 396, TRFs, Fleet, NAVSEA etc.
You will provide strategic support to on-site Program Office representatives in TRF Bangor and TRF Kings Bay.
You will, as the APM Fleet / Technical, collaborate throughout the community to resolve SSP / NAVSEA Missile Compartment technical issues.
You will lead a group of Missile Tech SME's with the responsibility to answer Fleet technical questions, work technical publication updates and help resolve the fleets toughest problems.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing long range planning objectives to develop strategies (e.g., financial, contractual, programmatic) to support execution of submarine or ship acquisition, in-service support or modernization programs.
