Location of position: Public Buildings Service, Portfolio Management & Customer Engagement Division in Fort Worth, TX.We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
As an Asset Management Specialist, you are assigned to the Portfolio Management and Customer Engagement Division, and are responsible for performing a range of financial management and analysis as well as asset and portfolio management duties for an assigned geographic Service Center.

If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify for the GS-09, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience applying concepts and principles of Real Property Management in order to analyze data and conditions related to real property assets and provide recommendations to senior-level asset managers on operational goals and building projects needed to achieve asset benchmarks.
OR
Education may be substituted for specialized experience if you have a Master's degree or have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or JD. To be creditable, such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
OR
Have a combination of qualifying graduate education and specialized experience that when combined together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
