You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Nuclear Project Office, Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (NEPD) of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will investigate security violations involving the loss or possible compromise of classified material.
You will facilitate the implementation of Security Department requirements.
You will develop and conducting security related training for department personnel.
You will conduct physical security surveys, surveillances and inspections to ensure compliance.
You will develop and execute a schedule of Information Security audits or exercises to ensure that department personnel are following established security procedures.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating or monitoring security control systems or programs to identify and resolve security related problems for an organization.

Education
The following may be substituted for specialized experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
Possession of an LL.M. degree that is related to this position being filled.
