You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the Comptroller Department of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA.
Duties
You will maintain accounts and support work requiring a basic understanding of accounting systems, policies and procedures to examine and reconcile accounts and accounting data, prepare and analyze reports.
You will perform technical work in support of the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and custody of cash items which includes handling cash items or use of accountability control methods.
You will examine documents for accuracy of documentation, compliance of regulations for goods and services provided to or by the Government.
You will be required to make and verify arithmetical computations.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized Experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: account maintenance, basic understanding of accounting systems, policies and procedures; verify, maintain and reconcile accounting data; prepare and analyze reports, and the ability to apply various accounting methods and techniques.
