About the Position: provides Clinical Investigation Service (CIS) with a usable database compiled from a wide variety of existing data sets for the purpose of scholarly activity.
Duties
Maintain requirements for system administrator access put out by local information Management Division (IMD).
Responsible for bimonthly server updates, data management team access and security audits.
Maintain Data Sharing Agreements and ensure one hundred percent are current with zero unintended expirations.
Ensure releases of information are cleared by Department of Clinical Investigation (DCI) leadership.
Develop a written plan outlined to stand up the different/much broader datasets from the original sources respectively as request by Department of Defense.
Access and extract data from the electronic health record.
Assist in the quality control of limited data sets generated from the electronic health records.
Assist investigators and staff on and off campus with request for assistance as directed by Department of Clinical Investigation (DCI) leadership.
Follow Scientific Review Committee (SRC) standard of operating procedures without deviations.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying statistical methods and procedures for collecting, processing, compiling, computing, analyzing and editing a variety of statistical data for use by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF); preparing statistical reports for special studies; and/or analyzing data and determining trends by using analytical software and/or coding.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
