You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Sustainment Dept, Integrated Product Division, Technical Data Branch of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
Duties
You will assemble procurement packages for the acquisition of operation and maintenance documentation.
You will act as the primary logistics team member for assigned training systems within NAWCTSD.
You will serve as the logistics representative on source selection committees, ensuring alignment with NAWCTSD policies and procedures in planning and procurement documents.
You will direct the resolution of logistics issues reported by fleet and shore activities associated with training systems, making budget and planning adjustments to accommodate unforeseen developments.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
For the GS-11 Grade Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following:
1) Assisting in the preparation Technical Data budget for training systems, ensuring it aligns with program needs. Conduct necessary funding adjustments and present budget modifications when required; 2) Preparing analyses of the operational, maintenance, training, provisioning, and acquisition support documentation needed for complex training devices, tailoring it to meet program-specific demands; 3) Assembling procurement packages for the acquisition of operation and maintenance documentation, including Technical Proposal Requirements (TPR), Proposal Evaluation Plan (PEP), technical manual contract requirements, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), cost estimates, statements of work (SOW), and statements of objectives (SOO); 4) Providing assistance in scheduling appropriate In-Process Reviews (IPRs), schedule coordination of in-plant contractor validation, review and provide feedback on technical documentation submissions, and assist in the organization of a Government verification team for the review phase of the procurement; 5) Support in the development of statements of work for contracts, evaluation of contractor proposals, and offers comprehensive recommendations to the relevant authority for procuring training systems. Ensure alignment with NAWCTSD policies and procedures in planning and procurement documents.
For the GS-09 Grade Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service
or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following:
1) Demonstrating knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices to assist in the preparation of the Technical Data budget for training systems, ensuring it aligns with program needs; 2) Assisting in preparing funding and budget requirements and/or modifications as required; 3) Utilizing knowledge of the operational, maintenance, training, provisioning, and acquisition support documentation to assist in developing analysis as needed for complex training devices; 4) Assembling procurement packages for the acquisition of operation and maintenance documents; 5) Providing support for developing statements of work and assist in evaluating contractor proposals.
