This position is located in Bureau of Information Services, Infrastructure Services, IT Operations & Maintenance. The incumbent will lead and direct the workload of the team.

Duties
As a Team Lead IT Operations & Maintenance, you will:
Report team issues or concerns to the supervisor, and assist in direction, or redirection of team priorities.
Serve as Team Lead and a senior IT engineer for agency's Windows network which includes, but not limited to, management of Active Directory, GPO, servers, data backup and systems' access programs, the email system and account management.
Additionally, server as Team Lead for the network operation including monitoring and O&M functions for network devices.
Keep current on the latest developments in the field and may attend vendor sponsored training on new IT Infrastructure tools and systems deployed by the agency.
Technically leads the team for providing IT O&M functions including, but not limited to, system administration, server and network monitoring and security vulnerability mitigation.
As Team Lead, he/she acts as an advisor in projects to ensure that new systems will not introduce adverse effect to the existing production IT systems and to study the feasibility of acquiring new technology.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications for the GS-13 level:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience is experience which demonstrates working as a technical lead providing support for IT operations & maintenance functions to an open system environment (Microsoft Windows). Manages Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO) involving domain members, devices, users access rights, credentials and configurations. Additionally manages servers, data backup, and network devices. Provides technical oversight including system administration, server & network monitoring and security vulnerability mitigation.
In addition, all applicants qualifying based on experience must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Applicants must demonstrate possession of these competencies within the body of the resume; no separate statements addressing them are required.

Time-in grade-restrictions: Applicants who are current or former Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level).
