About the position: This position will be assigned to the Resource Management Flight, Little Rock Air Force Base.
This position is guaranteed a minimum of 20 hours but can be scheduled to a maximum of 40 hours per week.
Duties
Serves as the focal point for all 19th Force Support Squadron property management, ensuring property control and disposal processes are consistent with regulations and guidance, under the general direction of the Resource Management Flight Chief. Provides logistic guidance, training, and assistance for activities on base.
Instructs activity managers in organizing and controlling all property items and maintaining an accurate Master Fixed Asset Listing. Establishes and conducts annual property inventories, ensuring all items are properly labeled/marked and included on the MFAL. Reviews and processes all NAF property additions, adjustments, transfers, and disposal forms prior to submitting to higher headquarters. Manages and coordinates with activity managers on items submitted to government liquidators for resale, NAF sales and items turned into logistics. Maintains documents/pictures and details of items sold for audit purposes. Reviews and coordinates on APF and NAF capital requirements budgets (NRB), all out-of-cycle NAF purchase requests and all five-year capital requirements to ensure proper fund source is used. Collaborates with the Resource Advisor on APF Unfunded Requirement processes and ensures proper fund source is used. Initiates property custodian paperwork and ensures new activity managers conduct a property inventory of all items. Manages/monitors APF reports of survey and NAF inquiries and investigations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Progressively responsible experience in supply work which provided knowledge of rules, regulations, procedures, and program requirements of the local supply organization and the organizations serviced. Knowledge of supply inventory and accountability procedures and regulations. Knowledge of purchasing and accounts reconciliation/balance. Experience must have been sufficiently demanding to demonstrate the ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve supply problems and/or deviations from normal supply management procedures or program requirements. Knowledge and ability to perform a range of standard clerical assignments and to resolve recurring problems. Knowledge of SAIS, Wide Area Workflow, and IBPS or comparable purchasing and reconciling systems. Typing skills are required. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
