About the Position: Serve as a Budget Analyst in the Resource Management Division and perform the full range of analytical technical, and administrative duties involving budget formulation, presentation and execution. This position is located at the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC), Fort Knox, KY.

Duties

Presents information in the appropriate format and justifies it to reviewing and approving authorities. Execute budget policies and procedures in conformity with DoD/DA guidelines. Review requests submitted by directorates and activities to assure accuracy and consistency to command policies and priorities. Serve as liaison with higher headquarters concerning budget administration activities. Advise directorate and activities on all matters dealing with policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires a SECRET Security Clearance.
  • THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
