You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the IN-SERVICE SSBN, SSGN & SSBN PROGRAM OFFICE of PEO SSBN. Salary range will depend on the location: Bremerton, WA: $129,451 - $183,500 - Per Year Washington Navy Yard, DC: $132,268 - $183,500 - Per Year

Duties

You will serve as the Installation Manager (within PMS 396D) performing all duties as related to the near-term planning and execution of modernization work during submarine availabilities. You will perform near term planning, tracking and regular reporting of modernization metrics which support submarine availability planning milestones. You will have direct interaction with a broad range of organizations including shipyard project teams, NAVWAR and NAVSEA Program Offices, Planning Yards, PMS 396D2, and NAVSEA technical SMEs. You will resolve critical problems or develop new theories to produce innovative and resource effective solutions. You will have demonstrated knowledge of Navy budget development, cost estimation policies, procedures and practices and contracting oversight with special consideration to duties as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). You will perform a full range of supervisory duties including advising on work and administrative matters, evaluating employee performance, identifying training needs, assigning work and monitoring completion of projects.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing long range planning objectives to develop strategies (e.g., financial, contractual, programmatic) to support execution of submarine or ship acquisition, in-service support or modernization programs.
