This position is located under the Office of Strategic Intelligence and Information, Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center in Huntsville, AL.

To qualify for GS-13, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-12. Additional Conditions of Employment: GS-13 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties: researching, composing, and editing complex reports, correspondence, and statistical summaries intended to educate or persuade high-ranking officials within Federal agencies, law enforcement agencies, and the general public; and soliciting information from a variety of sources and applies analytical skills in the development, analysis, and selection of suitable information and determination of the most appropriate venue by which to present the message to the intended audience; and publishing concepts, grammar, writing and editing practices, and style format requirements of the Bureau in order to prepare and present information in a clear manner. Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
