Duties
You will serve as the Command Special Access Program Control Officer (SAPCO). Direct the management and oversight of all aspects of special access programs (SAP), including security, authorized for AIRTEVRON NINE involvement
You will be the sole person responsible for accountability and control of operations and security of Special Access Programs
You will be responsible for information and information systems, cyber-security, personnel and physical security, Information Systems security, Operations Security, Communications Security and contractor security management/liaison
You will serve as AIRTEVRON NINE representative on high level task groups and committees developing operational testing, security and logistics policies for classified test activities
You will execute duties as the senior advisor and staff expert for all Special Access Programs to include DoD and DoN policy, procedures and access requirements for all authorized personnel
You will serve as senior technical security expert ensuring that special access information is protected during the oversight, planning, and conduct of operational tests as well as the analysis, interpretation and evaluation of test data and results
Requirements

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim/final Top Secret/SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- A non-disclosure agreement must be signed and submission to a polygraph examination may be required.
- You may be required to perform occasional travel up to 15%
- You will be required to obtain TIER II background adjudicator certification within six months of reporting.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Security Specialist performing work wherein the primary duties are analytical, planning, advisory, operational, or evaluative work that has as its principal purpose the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss. Specialized experience includes performing management, supervision, or performance of work in: (1) developing, evaluating, maintaining, and/or operating systems, policies, devices, procedures, and methods used for safeguarding information, property, personnel, operations, and materials; and/or (2) developing and implementing policies and procedures for analyzing and evaluating the character, background, and history of employees, candidates for employment, and other persons having or proposed to be granted access to classified or other sensitive information, materials, or work sites.
