About the Position: This position is located with the US Army Engineering District, Los Angeles, Operations Division, Technical Support Branch.

Duties

Serves as Program Manager, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of major programs and projects. Coordinates the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations, etc. for programs and projects. Controls and manages program and project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and initial operations. Serves as the district’s primary point of contact for projects assigned with resource agencies, stakeholders, Federal, state and local government agencies, Congressional interests, other external organizations and higher authorities.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires a valid state driver's license which must be possessed or maintained prior to employment, and maintained for the duration of employment.
  • This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.

Experience with Critical Infrastructure Construction or Service Contracts, Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, environmental compliance requirements for contracts, stakeholder engagement, and real estate action including easements, leases, and licenses. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
