About the Position: In this position, you will serve as the travel and training coordinator for the Bonneville Project. Duties cover the full range of work difficulty from routine word processing to the use of graphic and database program for the proper presentation of information.

Duties

Use an automated system to input required and requested training for Project personnel. Use an automated database to enter data concerning time and attendance. Operate a computer using advanced applications which utilize word processing, financial management, database manipulation, spreadsheet development, graphics preparation, electronic mail, etc. Advise on matters relating to travel and training and correspondence. Prepare correspondence and other documents as well as the creation or maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes using software programs to create a wide range of documents and reports as well as coordinating training and/or travel for employees. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). -OR- Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Public Administration, etc. -OR- Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Applies Technology to TasksClericalManages and Organizes Information Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
