Qualifications
All qualification and eligibility requirements must be met by the announcement closing date.
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the private sector leading a team of financial professionals who represent creditor interests in corporate reorganizations and/or mergers, formulate negotiation strategies, and perform in-depth analysis of the financial statements of plan sponsors.
Examples include: preparing credit risk or affordability analyses; assessing pension plan issues; providing expert witness reports and testimony; leading negotiations with a plan sponsor or another business entity.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
