About the Position: Fort Cavozos rests in the beautiful 'hill and lake' country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove and is approximately 60 miles north of the capital city of Austin, 50 miles south of Waco, 160 miles south of Dallas, and 150 miles north of San Antonio. Duties

Retrieve intelligence data to be disseminated for use in criminal investigative activities. Update data entry required for statistical analysis of crime trends and/or investigative case activity. Analyze data extracted from various sources in detail to further determine significant methods of operations and/or crime conducive conditions. Exchange information of mutual interest within confines of policy to ensure rapport in areas of criminal investigation, crime prevention, and/or criminal intelligence efforts.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
