These positions are located in the FDIC’s Division of Risk Management Supervision, Supervision and Policy, Risk Management Examination Branch, Risk Management and Application Sections I and II and are responsible for providing support in the areas of performing a variety of review, monitoring, and analysis functions related to the supervision of financial institutions. There is one position in Section I and one position in Section II. The duty location is determined upon selection.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Must be a Commissioned Examiner.
CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing review and analysis of supervisory matters with respect to proposed or existing insured depository institutions in the following areas: applications and notices, examinations, and enforcement actions.
CG-15: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 14 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing advice, counsel and guidance to staff in regard to special situations, complex examinations, enforcement matters, and/or regulatory applications of insured financial institutions.
