About the Position: The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) empowers Soldiers through sustained Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) readiness anytime and anywhere. CECOM delivers integrated C5ISR weapon systems, business systems, and medical sustainment to enable full spectrum combat operations at the point of need.
Duties
Provide training on supported systems using self-developed training materials, or materials obtained from the system developer.
Participate in extensive weapon system integration theory, planning and testing as evidenced by a continual focus on expanding the applications and capabilities of assigned systems.
Serve as the IEW STR Equipment Specialist (LAR) with responsibility to develop and implement the Technical Assistance plan for the IEW family of systems throughout their lifecycle.
Requirements

- Position is Emergency Essential (EE)
- May be required to deploy to, and remain in, hostile zones during crisis situations or mobilization, which may require flying in military aircraft.
- Will be required to live under field conditions; in tents consuming field rations such as Meals Ready to Eat (MRE).
- Single parents or families, where both parents are EE, are required to prepare and present their supervisor an approved family care plan.
- May be on-call, work irregular hours, accompany the assigned unit during technical and training field exercises, and deploy to contingency areas to support the command's weapon systems.
- Required to sign a mobility agreement.
- May be required to wear military type uniforms, protective and or Organizational Clothing, Individual OCIE Equipment, and Chemical Defense Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Valid U.S. State driver’s license is required.
- Pre-Employment and annual Physical.
- Will maintain all required immunizations.
- Cannot be a Reserve Component or National Guard member subject to recall to active duty.
- Must maintain a valid "No Fee" (Official) and a Tourist Passport at all times.
- Must maintain a Government Travel Credit Card.
- Will maintain a government provided telephonic means of communication.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) level in the Federal which includes: 1) Assist in the development and implementation the Technical Assistance plan for the IEW family of systems throughout their lifecycle; 2) Install and integrate new server hardware and applications, loading and use of a variety of software applications; and 3) Prepare reports on causes of system malfunctions.
Education
