About the Position: Serves as the Executive Assistant/Administrative Officer to the District Commander with general oversight of and coordination among the Executive Office and District administrative/clerical staff. *Recruitment/Relocation incentives may be authorized to highly qualified individuals*

Duties

Maintain a close knowledge of the Commanders policies and assure compliance through correspondence, status reports and inspection reports as required. As Protocol Officer you would manage and oversee the implementation of the Distinguished visitor program and coordinate and arrange the Districts changes of command ceremonies. After research (and with minimal guidance) you would prepare correspondence to Federal, State and local public officials for the Commanders signature. You would attend and arrange conferences, coordinate the activities of various visits, ceremonies and public events as needed.

  • Supervisory probationary period required.
