Duties
Coordinate budget planning with Resource Management.
Make recommendations on allocation of funds.
Delegate work to clinic staff based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
Promote system mission for providing quality patient care.
Collaborate with Patient Advocate to resolve patient complaints and care concerns within policy.
Interpret productivity, access, cost and quality data to ensure outcomes meet organization standards.
Responsible for database design, administration, security, and maintenance.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires screening for required immunizations and for evidence of tuberculosis. Immunizations must be up to date per AR 40-562 and current CDC/Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations.
- May require use of an electronic pager or cellular telephone.
- This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 5% of duty time.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is, therefore, subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.

Basic Requirements:
Progressively responsible analytical or administrative, or clinical management or supervisory experience in the health care field. This work may have been performed in an operating health care facility or a higher organizational echelon with advisory or directional authority over such facilities. Work must have involved a close working relationship with facility managers and analysis and/or coordination of administrative, clinical, or other service activities, and provided knowledge of the following:
Missions, organizations, programs, and requirements of health care delivery systems;
Regulations and standards of various regulatory and credentialing groups; and
Government-wide, agency, and facility systems and requirements in various administrative areas such as budget, personnel, and procurement.
Applicants must also possess:
Management ability to delegate authority, evaluate and oversee people and programs, recognize and adapt to changing priorities; and
Knowledge of the interrelationships and interdependencies among various medical and administrative services and programs.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which managing budget plans; working with personnel management on policies, employee development, or employee programming; and utilizing automated data systems for reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
