As a Client Communications Specialist, you will manage and anticipate a technology client’s communications needs as well as support and promote GSA technology programs and services by developing and implementing a variety of communication strategies.Location of position: GSA, Office of Strategic Communication, 1800 F Street, NW, Washington, DC.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
The Office of Strategic Communications supports GSA’s mission through communications that inform, influence, and inspire while successfully managing GSA’s reputation in delivering value to the American people. This is accomplished through establishing trusted partnerships delivering strategic communications best practices for our employees, partners, customers, and the public.
Requirements
- US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
- Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
- Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
- Register with the Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959
- Direct Deposit of salary check to financial organization required.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $112,015.00 per year. To qualify at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience:
developing and implementing strategic communication strategies for an organization and/or client's programs, projects, or initiatives, through a variety of outlets (i.e., developing articles, blogs, social media posts, presentations, and stories);
managing communication publications; and
writing and editing highly professional materials (i.e., digital services, human-centered technological solutions, agile methodology, IT modernization, data science, cybersecurity, and customer experience).
