As the Senior lead for Johnson Space Center (JSC) Extravehicular and Human Surface Mobility Program (EHP) Project Planning & Control (PP&C) Information Technology, Cybersecurity and Export Control you will be responsible for managing EHP IT hardware, software & web tools, flight & ground Cybersecurity and Export Control policies. You will lead a team of experts from various backgrounds to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of systems and policies to support the entire program.
Duties
Serves as the EHP subject matter expert for export control as the prime Export Control Representative (ECR). Manages EHP’s export policies, tools, and coordinates with other EHP offices to develop/manage export scope in international agreements.
Acts as the EHP Information Security Officer to identify, configure, and implement cybersecurity solutions utilizing engineering practices to meet regulation and compliance standards (ex NPR 2810.1F) in addition to applying other best practice.
Leads cybersecurity efforts across EHP, by ensuring security plans are in place, maintained and audited. The scope includes EHP office and test equipment; EHP Ground systems - databases, servers, and applications; EHP Flight Space systems.
Manages Information Technology (IT) for the EHP, within the bounds of JSC required policies and practices. Serves as the program's lead point of contact for all IT-related items such as ground systems, software, networking, and other equipment.
Provides customer-oriented solutions across EHP and with external program stakeholders. Ensure the efficient and effective implementation of responsible systems and policies for export and IT need.

Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Education Requirement (in the Education section below), to qualify for this position you must meet the requirements below and have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.
NASA utilizes OPM-approved qualification and rating requirements specific for Aerospace Technology (AST) positions which recognizes NASA's unique aerospace work. The specific qualifications and minimum education requirements are further described below and within the education section of the job announcement.
GS-15: To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level:
Providing leadership and management of the design of web-based tools and workflows in support of program functions and engineering activities;
Applying agency export control policies to support programmatic structure, in areas such as data export processing,
product marking, and export record keeping;
Implementing cybersecurity policies set by the agency and center, to ensure ground and flight systems have sufficient and auditable controls in place.

Education
Basic Education Requirement: You must have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with a major in one of the following:
a) Engineering from a college or university that has ABET accredited engineering programs
b) Physical Science, Mathematics, Life Science or other field of Science
c) Computer Science that included 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours of course work in any combination of mathematics, statistics and computer science with at least half of those hours in mathematics and statistics courses that included differential and integral calculus.
If you did not complete a qualifying bachelor's degree, you may be eligible if you have obtained a graduate degree in an AST qualifying field, as listed above.
Degrees in engineering technology are
not considered qualifying for this position.
