You will serve as a Mechanical Shops Supervisor (Corrosion Control) in the Production Department Code 900 of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

Duties

You will be responsible for providing corrosion control and weld repair services for all fleet units, shore commands, U.S. Coast Guard, and other units as required. You will plan, direct work, and coordinate the efforts of the Corrosion Control Shop, Watertight Enclosure Shop, and Ready Service Locker Shop. You will be responsible for the coordination, planning, and execution of a zero-based budget for the product line. You will provide SWRMC and external activities with useful metrics to assist in operational planning, funding, workload management and process improvement. You will direct the daily operations of six subordinate Work Leads tasked with meeting deadlines and production schedules for powder coatings and/or repairs.
