About the Position: The incumbent performs technician work that supports the management and oversight of the procurement of supplies, services and construction for the 413th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB), Regional Contracting Office - HI (RCO-HI). The incumbent is involved in a variety of work situations involving the full spectrum of the procurement process from the contracting pre-award phase through the post-award phase.

Duties

Generates, prepares, controls, reviews various procurement documents and records in contract files to resolve complaints or problems encountered in contract closeout. Investigates payment discrepancies on closed contracts and prepares information for closing out contracts. Ensures service contracts contains clauses compliant with Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS) for performance based payments. Monitors various automated contract information management systems by entering, searching for, editing, and extracting data and information. Prepares, verifies, abstracts, controls, procurement documents, files, reports, or records. Serves as the Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder for the office, orders supplies as necessary to ensure operational needs are met.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
