About the Position: Position provides managers/supervisors with briefings and data on a wide variety of actions, issues, problems, and questions that affect the organizations. Position is in Human Resources Command (HRC), Officer Personnel Management Directorate (OPMD), at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Plan, coordinate, and execute personnel actions and resolve problems.
Provide technical support and conduct training for timekeepers and supervisors on time attendance and Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS) software.
Compile information and reports, civilian personnel rosters, and statistical data.
Requirements

Experience Required:
To qualify based on your work experience, the resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience resolving problems related to the Government Travel Card (GTC). Experience preparing temporary duty (TDY) travel orders, statement of understanding (SOU), and other TDY, transportation, hotel/motel, and rental car justifications. Experience reviewing human resources (HR) directives, laws, policies, procedures, and regulations. Experience utilizing various HR automated systems.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-07).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience to qualify. For this position at the GS-09 grade level you must possess:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education in Human Resources Management.
