About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Intelligence & Security CMD U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command HQ FT. Meade, MD. .

Duties

Exercises program responsibility for operational programs, plans and projects in support of USACIC DS/G6 worldwide mission. Equitably assigns work among employees and provides expert direction for analytical agenda. Oversees and manages special projects such as Command IT and network associated special projects, IT and Communications Tasking Order process and manages the Command’s IT and Communications Tracking System. Develops and disseminates clear guidance on architectural system design alternatives mandated by DoD, DA and other compliance directives impacting automated systems.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET Security Clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• Temporary Duty (TDY) will be required and will constitute up to 25% of the time.
• All USACIC employees may be subject to extended TDY during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
