You will serve as a FACILITIES GENERAL FOREMAN in the Production Division of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.
Duties
You will frequently review management reports in order to maintain and keep abreast of all work being performed.
You will participate in establishing production goals, managing work schedules, adhering to labor and material budgets, and measuring the quality of work performed.
You will assist in developing, reviewing and implementing all new processes or procedures developed by the Production division.
You will be responsible for ensuring the employees are provided with appropriate safety training, equipment, and an overall safe working environment.
You will ensure effective and economical work practices of the personnel on site by adhering to schedule, cost and quality standards.
You will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating and directing operations through subordinate supervisors.
Requirements

- You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
