About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, Joint Staff, NGB- J3/7, DOMES OPS & Force Development Director, Arlington, VA.
About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C. Arlington is headquarters to many departments and agencies of the federal government, including the Department of Defense and is the location of many national memorials and museums.
Duties
Provide immediate notification to command element of information that may impact critical mission elements.
The incumbent acts as focal point for all staffing and coordination actions with the National Guard Bureau Joint and DA Staff functions.
Conduct liaison and maintain relationship with multiple interagency and staffs to meet NGB plans, policy and exercise objectives.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
