You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (Class Maintenance Manager), PEO SSN in the Submarine Maintenance Planning Branch (PMS392A3) of the In-Service Attack Submarine Program Office (PMS392) of PEO SSN
Duties
You will serve as a liaison between NAVSEA's technical and programmatic offices, field activities, maintenance activities, and the fleet.
You will be a functional authority for all matters pertaining to the following for in-service attack submarines: class maintenance planning; submarine depot availability notional cost and duration and depot-level availability scheduling.
You will also be a functional authority for Submarine Engineered Operating Cycle Program management - feasibility studies and material condition assessments for operating interval, operating cycle and service life extensions.
You will demonstrate experience planning, coordinating, and executing submarine depot-level availabilities and submarine maintenance planning functions.
You will apply knowledge of submarine systems and submarine system design practices, as well as knowledge of engineering, industrial, and logistics support practices related to the management of submarine class maintenance.
You will develop and recommend methodologies and approaches for complex organization issues pertaining to assigned programs.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing programs and conducting studies to advise management on submarine acquisition or maintenance projects.
