You will serve as a SECURITY GUARD in the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC) of NAVAVNWARDEVCEN.
Duties
You will work as a Security Guard and as a member of the command security management team
You will serve in fixed posts and roving patrols
You will verify credentials and control access and access points
You will safeguard information, property, personnel, operations, and materials
You will set, monitor, and secure alarms.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret level security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position requires rotating shift work.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least six months of general experience performing administrative, technical, clerical, military, or other work that involved following written procedures, rules, or regulations in contacts with coworkers, supervisors, or members of the public to provide service, respond to inquiries, or obtain information,
AND
having six months of specialized experience that involved the protection of property against such hazards as fire, theft, damage, accident, or trespass; or maintaining order and protecting life. Such experience must have provide knowledge ofprotective systems and techniques.

Education
You may qualify using education to substitute for experience if you have: Successfully completed at least two full academic years of education above high school.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
