About the Position: This position is located at Army Health Clinic Moncrief under Defense Health Agency.
Moncrief Army Health Clinic is located on Fort Jackson, South Carolina and is part of the 82 square mile military installation located adjacent to the state capital of Columbia.
Duties
Use automated programs to track, monitor and record all medical and non-medical equipment.
Prepare and maintaining the equipment files and other historical records.
Use a variety of software to produce a variety of documents.
Maintain commitment register by recording dollar amounts of supply expenditures ordered (committed) and received (obligated) on a daily basis.
Stores items in proper locations and sets up locations for new items considering size, shape, weight and similar nomenclature of items.
Serves as the primary point of contact for coordination for services and parts.
Serves as the Contracting Officer Representative to coordinate and facilitate submissions of contracts relating to maintenance services.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Personnel Security Investigation required.
- Incumbent will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
- Temporary Travel of at least 5% may be required.

Specialized Experience Required: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) investigating and reconciling discrepancies related to parts and on site repairs, 2) use of automated system to track, monitor and record all medical and non medical equipment; 3) maintain fiscal log and/or balancing allotted budget. 4) restocking supply rooms as needed,5) providing assistance with procurement planning, execution, and monitoring guidance in support of Contracting Officer Representative (COR) activities.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/position in the federal service (GS-06).
