About the Position: This position is located at the Dugway Proving Grounds, Occupational Health, Department of Preventive Medicine which is located in Tooele County, Dugway Utah. The clinic is located approximately 90 miles southwest of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Duties
Maintain patient records according to regulation ensuring each entry contains proper patient and health care provider identification.
Enter labs and/or x-ray order into medical records for providers signatures.
Obtain vital signs, height/weight measurements, and health assessments for military and civilian personnel.
Administer immunizations and TB skin tests to patient to record results in the medical records.
Perform audiograms, vision testing, pulmonary function testing, electrocardiograms (EKGs)
Obtain serum and urine specimens from patients and prepare specimens for shipping to contract lab.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The incumbent of this position must be able to obtain and maintain Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) Certification.
- This position requires that you obtain and maintain a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).
- The incumbent may be required to travel for duty (TDY) 5% of the time.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- The incumbent of this position must be able to obtain and maintain National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Certification to perform pulmonary function testing.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes documented experience which demonstrates experience: Performing non-professional nursing/medical assistance work assisting Health Care Providers with medical exams; administering immunizations and medications ordered by the health care providers; AND obtaining specimens (blood, mucus, urine, etc.) for laboratory testing. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as Occupational Health.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Education
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
