This position is located in Transformation & Modernization/Office of Strategy and Transformation/Enterprise Strategy Integration. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will work closely with senior executives on high-level sensitive projects. The initial focus of work will be on enterprise performance.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Be responsible for the review and dissemination of mission critical information that is confidential in nature.
Develop and execute an advanced level of management and program analysis theories, approaches and solutions to problems that are confidential in nature and require change within the organization. Identify and develop methods and procedures to resolve problems or cope with issues that affect the accomplishment of enterprise goals and objectives through strategic planning, strategic integration, and budget planning.
Lead and or oversee projects and ensure appropriate integration of milestones and initiatives. Use project management best practices to deliver timely and accurate work.
Provide key support to management in a wide variety of administrative and operational matters. Conduct broad or specific studies relevant to organizational goals and objectives. Compile data and perform statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Researching and interpreting program related laws, regulations, guidelines, or procedures to analyze, communicate issues, justify conclusions reached and recommend courses of actions to improve effectiveness and efficiencies of operations; OR
- Performing formal and informal briefings and presentations of technical nature to high-level management defending or to gain support from the audience; OR
- Performing analysis to determine the degree of success in attaining program goals and providing recommendations on improvements.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
