Duties
You will serve as the Installation expert on policies, regulations, and laws governing USMC Real Property Inventory reporting and management.
You will be responsible for Real Property Inventory data collection, validation, maintenance, and data integrity in the internet Navy Facilities Assets Data Store (iNFADS) to meet audit requirements.
You will monitor and account for all capital increases and decreases for land, building, structure, utility, and relocatable property records to reflect additions, deletions, and changes.
You will monitor execution of Asset Evaluations and ensure Financial Management Regulation (FMR) requirements are met.
You will analyze long and short-range organizational needs against available space to identify shortage or excess of property.
You will coordinate with Installation Geospatial Information and Services staff to reconcile Real Property Inventory data with geospatial databases for use in the real property accountability process.
You will be responsible for review of lease contracts and leasing actions including preparation of approval documents to initiate or renew leases, and modification of terms and conditions to existing leases.
You will maintain cradle-to-grave responsibility for monitoring acquisition projects being executed by NAVFAC including the acquisition of land, easements, leases, and rights of way.
You will prepare Reports of Excess and ensure compliance with McKinney-Vento Act and other applicable laws to dispose of USMC real property.
You will prepare and present briefings to outline USMC realty and real property issues.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising an organization on Real Property inventory and management related to shore facilities planning, real estate, and financial management policies, instructions, regulations, and codes; Providing Real Property support services throughout the life cycle of shore facilities ranging from property acquisition, design, construction, maintenance and repair, and demolition; and Experience in documentation that supports acquisition and disposal of real property in accordance with audit guidelines.
