Duties
-Performs regular preventive maintenance, diagnoses equipment or system troubles and makes repairs and/or adjustments as necessary to return equipment or systems to normal operation.
-Installs, maintains, and fabricates electronic and related equipment.
-Utilizes test equipment of the trade, such as: Digital Multimeters, Watt meters, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Frequency Meters, Relay Test Sets, and Computers.
-Researches, obtains pricing, and orders suitable replacement parts for defective equipment.
-Interprets and works from electrical drawings and electronic circuit diagrams and perform field tests and adjustment work on meters, relays, and other electrical or electronic equipment or systems without endangering system operations.
