You will serve as a SUPERVISORY TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (SERE) of CENSECFOR DET BRUNSWICK.
Duties
You will serve as the Technical Assistant providing technical assistance, inspection and monitoring duties in support of the Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) Instructor contract.
You will observe field training and instructor performance to ensure standardization of training, compliance with directives and student comprehension of learning objectives.
You will maintain qualifications as a SERE Watch Officer and provide safety oversight in all phases of survival and resistance training at remote training sites.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- Incumbent must complete a basic Contracting Officers Representative (COR) training course.
- Non-standard felxible work hours, to include weekend and holidays.
- This position requires SERE level "C' completion.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1.) Serving as a Navy Enlisted Classification 807A/ SERE Instructor or equivalent with expert skills in classroom, field, laboratory training, management and delivery to apply the principles and techniques of education to help students acquire skills and knowledge. 2.) Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of Code of Conduct/SERE/Personnel Recovery (PR) training programs. 3.) Supervise, motivate, train and work effectively with subordinates and peers who have a variety of backgrounds and training. 4.) Skilled in oral and written communication on a professional level in order to effectively convey ideas in a clear, concrete, and concise manner. 5.) Utilize various software word processing, spreadsheet, and data management appropriate to each task. 6.) Develop the competencies of others to perform and contribute to the organization by inspiring and providing a learning environment of ongoing feedback and opportunities to learn through formal and informal methods, enabling employees to address skill gaps and realize their highest potential
