Serves as a Management and Program Assistant in Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Technical Operations.

Duties

E-Band: Provides administrative support to supervisors, managers, and other employees in managing the office’s. administrative functions, which may include several of the following areas: fiscal management, travel, management information systems, contract administration, property management, procurements, and overall office management.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-E, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-D, FG/GS-5/6 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience for the FV-E is: Experience in the performance basic and routine tasks in support of administrative program; utilizing automated systems to maintain data; and supporting the office in scheduling meetings; typing correspondence; providing standard information on administrative policies, personal property and travel administration.To qualify for this position at the FV-F, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-E, FG/GS-7/8 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience for the FV-F is: Skills in planning and managing the office's daily administrative functions, maintaining automated systems to record, reconcile, validate, and track data; identifying and resolving discrepancies; performing various analytical studies; interpreting and providing guidance; and performing multiple and varying assignments in the areas of financial support, personnel matters, personal property, and travel administration.NOTE: The position may be filled at the FV-E or FV-F.This position is being announced separately at the FV-E and FV-F Pay Bands. If this position is filled at the FV-E pay band level incumbent may be promoted to the next level without further competition. However, the grade of a position is based on the duties officially assigned and actually performed by the incumbent of the position. These duties are affected by the Supervisor's willingness to delegate higher graded duties and incumbent's capacity to perform the duties.
