Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Duties

MAJOR DUTIES: The purpose of this position is to plan, manage, and administer a comprehensive operational oversight of Food Leisure Hospitality Services Division¿s Leisure Services, direct run operations.  Assist in the management of a diversified staff, programs and activities for direct run businesses including, but not limited to Auto Skills Center, Recreation and Rentals, Vehicle Storage, and other related Food Leisure Hospitality Facilities as assigned.  Support, plans, organizes, and manages workloads, internal procedures and resources to ensure maximum productivity and economic growth within facilities and programs.  Assist with purchase requests for required equipment, supplies, and services.  Performs a variety of administrative tasks to include but not limited to establishing and updating operating procedures, preparing management narratives, after action reports and support with point of sale and inventory systems at the business operations level. Serves as the installation liaison with agencies internal and external to the Marine Corps Community Services to develop long range plans in conjunction with internal operating directives. Makes recommendations, seeks new opportunities and works in coordination with the Deputy Director Food, Leisure, Hospitality and Services Yuma to maximize business opportunities and efficiencies.  Monitors programs on a regular basis, and initiates corrective action to ensure support of all operating programs of MCCS. Maintains awareness of industry standards and trends while exceeding the needs of the customer.  Manages multiple operations for the profit and loss statement to include operating expenses, payroll and overhead.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a minimum of four years supervisory experience, which demonstrates knowledge and ability to manage and maintain progressive responsibility in the operation of a business activity. Must have knowledge of business administration and office procedures. Must have knowledge of accounting methods and procedures to prepare an operational budget.  Must have the ability to deal effectively with subordinates, supervisory and management officials, and patrons.  Skill to operate a personal computer.  Must be able to make sound judgments and decisions.  Must have the physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
