This position is located in the Office of Chief Administrative Officer (OCAO), Office of Information Systems (OIS), Radio Services Division (RSD).

Requirements

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. For the CP-9 level you must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CP-8/GS-10 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as experience which includes: 1) Knowledge of telecommunications operating techniques, digital and analog communications requirements including video, local area networking, and procedures used by organizations; 2) Knowledge of the configuration and maintenance of computers and servers that support radio systems; 3) Skill in diagnosing problems and determining corrective action for complex electronic systems; and 4) Effective communication skills in order to instruct and train users on radio usage.
