Duties
You will repair and replace printed circuit boards and individual components of printed circuits.
You will replace variable frequency drives on wastewater and water treatment influent and effluent pumps.
You will repair a variety of electronic assemblies, including replacement of solid state and other components.
You will maintain, adjust and repair solid state, electronic and electrical controls, sensors, detectors, meters and pump motors.
You will perform tests to determine problems, malfunctions, and extent of repairs required with minimum downtime.
You will initiate and annotate forms or reports.
You will test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain controllers and automatic transfer switches on gasoline and diesel generators for proper electrical output.
You will follow federal and state rules when storing, using, handling, labeling, and disposing of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with environmental standards.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Aerial Lift License within 6 months of appointment into the position.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Forklift license within 6 months of appointment into the position.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Hazardous Material training within 6 months of appointment into the position.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Tasks related to this position include: Installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing on various systems (i.e Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS); various fire alarm systems; controls for industrial systems such as, heating plants (boilers, furnaces, air handlers), wastewater and water treatment systems, Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS), computer electronic controlled boiler/heating systems, and audio/electronic circuits/security monitoring system, radio transmission receivers, and/or closed circuit TV systems.
