About the Position: This position is located with the Joint Munitions Command, G1/DCS For Human Resource Management Talent Management and Initiatives Division Rock Island, Illinois.

Duties

Disseminate planning guidance and coordinate administrative program activities. Advise management on issues related to human resources and personnel management programs, policies, and plans. Perform a wide variety of analytical duties and projects related to management improvement in areas such as training, military personnel support, and career program management. Consolidate data and prepare various analyses and required reports. Develop new strategies to resolve personnel and administrative issues within a command. Coordinate with internal and external activities, subordinate commands, and depots in collecting data relevant to assigned personnel management projects or evaluating procedures to determine their applicability within the commands.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS 11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
