About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at INSCOM 207TH MIL INTELL BRIGADE HQ in Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.

Duties

Develops in-depth intelligence analytical assessments to determine best methodology to counter the enemy threat and support course of action development. Reconcile conflicting policies and guidance from Army, INSCOM, USAFRICOM, SETAF-AF and other DoD Agencies at operational, functional, technical, and financial approval levels. Represents the command as the Senior ALERT SIGINT Analyst during coordination and liaison with counterparts throughout the national intelligence community. Directly responsible for project management and development of new concepts, programs, and plans.

Requirements

• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance based on a TS investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• Requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
• All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
• May be required to be on-call.
