As a Natural Resources Manager, you will manage the region's policy and program execution related to natural resources matters involving areas such as vegetation management, the acquisition and management of land and land rights, and environmental planning and compliance. You will also serve as the principle advisor to the region's senior management officials on all natural resources matters within Arizona, southern California, and southern Nevada. This is not a remote position.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience: Experience serving in at least one of the following: As an environmental program manager demonstrating expertise in the interpretation of the National Environmental Policy Act and providing oversight for planning and executing NEPA compliance activities. As a realty or lands program manager overseeing the acquisition and management of land and land rights. As a vegetation management program manager ensuring adherence to compliance standards and overseeing execution of short and long-term treatment plans. Experience collaborating with at least two of the following entities: other federal agencies, state agencies, Native American Tribes, environmental groups, and private landowners. Experience in the electric utility industry Time-in-Grade: Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration.
