This National Guard position is for a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM MECHANIC - Title 32, Position Description Number D1974000 and is part of the WI 115 LRS, Wisconsin Air National Guard.

Duties

As a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM MECHANIC - Title 32, WG-4255-10, you will maintain, inspect, install, repair, replace, distribution systems and their electrical components. *Indefinite positions are not permanent and have no guarantee to continued employment. Indefinite employees may be subject to separation from employment at any time with a 30 day written notification. If the position becomes permanent, employee may be converted to a permanent appointment without further competition at management's discretion.*

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training demonstrating knowledge of hydraulics, fluids, gases and mechanics as applied to fuel systems and components repair techniques. Experience using tools and equipment associated with the trade and reading and interpreting directions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify at the WG-10 level, you must have at least 18 months of experience or training operating, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting and overhauling fuel systems and components. Experience or training initiating and controlling the movement and storage of fuel supplies by operating high pressure systems with a series of terminals connected by cross-country pipelines or multi-fuel storage and distribution facilities connected by a network of internal pipelines.
