Qualifications

What are we looking for? A minimum of three years work experience in planning, organizing, and administering a recreational program, one-year having been at the supervisory level preferred. A Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in the field of recreation preferred. Ability to coordinate a large volunteer program with command, community, and civic leaders. Ability to solve problems that arise from managing large, diverse groups of people. Ability to market the program and motivate eligible patrons. Must be familiar with personnel management procedures and policies. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
