You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Department of the Navy (DON) Performance Improvement Office (PIO) at the Pentagon.

Duties

You will serve as a Program Analyst and Action Officer providing executive level management and support to work-stream leaders. You will serve on working groups keeping executive level management informed on reports, trends, analytic methodology and techniques involving the latest reports and findings on business process improvement decisions. You will work with various Navy and Marine Corps organizational units to highlight best practices and lessons learned to foster collaboration and information sharing, You will promote sharing of risk-related information across the DON to allow for better risk-based decision-making and foster a culture of transparency and communication concerning risks to the strategic objectives. You will produce strategic and performance plans and conduct gap analysis.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Experience providing executive level management support to high level officials such as work-stream lead or Secretariat leaders. - Experience serving as a project/program manager for multiple work streams within the scope of process improvement. - Experience implementing improved business practices across a command or agency with a focus on improving processes. - Experience with business systems.
