About the Position: This position is located in Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell lies on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, KY & Clarksville, TN about 45 miles NW of Nashville. The cost of living is lower than the average for all major U.S. cities. This position provides support for Accreditation, Infection Prevention and Control, Patient Safety, Risk Management, Utilization Management, and Process Improvement.

Duties

Extracts data to alternative evaluation platforms, and determines potential data sources, collection methodology and data requirements. Develops comprehensive methods or procedures to determine and measure the reliability, accuracy, and validity of quality outcomes data. Develops and formulates studies, summaries, and substantive analysis, utilizing various source data collection systems, to assess overall quality of inpatient and outpatient care delivered. Independently develops graphic presentations of statistical data, as well as composite material involving the measurement of patient care for briefings, publications, and various reports.

Requirements

• This is an inclement weather position. The incumbent is expected to make every attempt to report for duty on time and/or remain on duty during inclement weather conditions.
• Incumbent may be required to perform call duties; work overtime to include weekends and federal holidays, out of cycle, or unscheduled training or on an emergency basis.
• The work will require the incumbent to work evenings/nights; rotating shifts, extended hours or other schedules common to hospital operations.
• This position may require occasional travel (up to 5%).
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has been designated Mission Essential. In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations, the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
